[1] The duo briefly reunited at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, singing "L-imħabba" on the 50th anniversary of their participation.
Micallef began her singing career at the age of 10 years old when took part in a song festival with her sister in the hall of St. Aloysius College.
At 14, she joined the group The Four Links, which consisted of Joe Muscat, John B. Gove and Edwin Vella.
[4] In 1967, she won a song contest against Albano and Mia Martini amongst others, who both would also go on to Eurovision on multiple occasions.
[5] With this victory, Micallef played concerts in Rome and Florence and represented Malta in another International Festival held in the city of Sopot in Poland.
