Henry Allsopp, 1st Baron Hindlip DL (19 February 1811 – 2 April 1887), known as Sir Henry Allsopp, Bt, between 1880 and 1886, was a British businessman and Conservative politician.
He represented East Worcestershire in the House of Commons between 1874 and 1880 when he was ennobled.
[4] Allsopp succeeded his father in 1838 in running of the family brewing business.
He was very upset when shareholders claimed they had been misled over its 1887 stockmarket flotation, and he died within weeks of the criticism.
They had several children, including:[6] Lord Hindlip died in April 1887, aged 76, and was succeeded in his titles by his eldest son Samuel.
