Henry Fanshawe Tozer

The Reverend Henry Fanshawe Tozer, FBA (18 May 1829 – 2 June 1916) was a British writer, teacher, traveller, and geographer.

[1] Tozer was born in Plymouth, Devon, the eldest son of Capt.

Fanshawe had a particular interest "in the intersection of geography and the classics".

[1] He travelled much in Greece and in European and Asiatic Turkey.

His funeral service was held in Exeter College Chapel.
