Henry George Woods

Henry George Woods (16 June 1842 – 19 July 1915) was an Anglican clergyman and academic.

[2] As an exhibitioner and later a scholar, he studied classics at Corpus Christi College, Oxford.

The Temple Church was the headquarters of the Knights Templar before they were disbanded in the 14th century.

[4] In 1879, Woods married Margaret Louisa Bradley, a novelist and poet.

[3] She was the daughter of George Bradley, an academic and senior priest, who served as Dean of Westminster from 1881 to 1902.
