Sir Henry Green (de Grene), of Boughton,[1] (died 6 August 1369) was an English lawyer, and Chief Justice of the King's Bench from 24 May 1361 to 29 October 1365.
[2] He was born 1310 the son of an extremely wealthy wool merchant Henry del Grene of Isham, Northamptonshire and an unknown mother.
[3] Early in his career, he served both Queen consort, Isabel, and her grandson, Edward the Black Prince.
He was made a justice of the Court of Common Pleas in 1354, and knighted by King Edward III.
Both men were found guilty and imprisoned in the Tower of London, but were eventually pardoned on the intercession of King David II of Scotland.
