Henry Vernon (1718–1765)

Henry Vernon (13 September 1718 – 25 May 1765), of Hilton Park, Staffordshire, was an English Member of Parliament.

He was the eldest son of Henry Vernon, MP of Hilton Park by Penelope Philips, daughter and co-heiress of Robert Philips of Newton Regis.

His first cousin was Henry Vernon, an MP for Staffordshire and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

[3] In December 1743, Vernon married Lady Henrietta Wentworth, a daughter of Frederick Wentworth, 3rd Earl of Strafford.

Together, they were the parents of three sons and five daughters, including:[4] Vernon died on 25 May 1765.
