Children of the Corn (group)

Children of the Corn was an American hip-hop group formed in 1993 by Harlem rappers Big L, Herb McGruff, Mase (then Murda Mase), Cam'ron (then Killa Cam) , Six Figga Digga (Cam's first producer) and Bloodshed (Cam'ron's cousin), real name Derek Michael Armstead.

[1][2] Known as a "Harlem super group" that "generated buzz on the streets",[3] they disbanded after the death of Bloodshed in a car crash on March 2, 1997, at age 21.

[4] Band members Big L and Mase had a plagiarism related dispute while in the band.

[5] A retrospective compilation album, Children of the Corn: The Collector's Edition, was released in 2003.
