Herbert Carl Raubenheimer (October 27, 1896 – March 10, 1978) was an American educator, college sports coach and administrator, and pharmacist.
He starred in athletics at Boys High School in Brooklyn as a lineman in football, guard in basketball, and catcher in baseball.
Raubenheimer served as a sergeant in the United States Army during World War II.
In December 1927, he was hired at Long Island University (LIU) as athletic director and coach of football, basketball, and baseball.
[2] Raubenheimer left LIU in 1931 to become a professor of commercial pharmacy at St. John's University in Queens.
