High Amana is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Iowa County, Iowa, United States, and is part of the "seven villages" of the Amana Colonies.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the High Amana CDP has an area of 0.39 square miles (1.00 km2), all land.
There were 50 housing units at an average density of 130.6 per square mile (50.4/km2).
This community was originally known as Hoch-Amana,[6][7] German for "High Amana", also inflected as Hohe-Amana.
