Hirangaon

Hirangaon is located west of Firozabad city, with the old NH 2 to the north and the main line of the Northern Railway to the south.

A country road on the west side of Hirangaon connects to Khemkaranpur in the southwest and to Alinagar Kenjra (and the highway) in the north.

These include Brahmin, Jatav, Barber, Kori, Kachi, Valmiki, Tiwari, Srooti, Mudgal, Pathak, Joshi, Tenuguriya and Dixit.

[citation needed] The 1981 census recorded Hirangaon as having a population of 511 people (278 male and 233 female), in 89 households and 89 physical houses.

[4]: 190–1 The 1961 census recorded Hirangaon (as "Hirangau") as comprising 1 hamlet, with a total population of 402 people (210 male and 192 female), in 67 households and 48 physical houses.

The village did not have a post office or public library; there was at least some access to electricity for all purposes.
