Hitoshi Sogahata (曽ヶ端 準, Sogahata Hitoshi, born August 2, 1979) is a Japanese former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Kashima Antlers[2] and the Japan national team.
He joined J1 League club Kashima Antlers based in his local from youth team in 1998.
At Club World Cup, he played all four matches and won the 2nd place.
On December 24, 2020, Sogahata announced his retirement after more than twenty years with the club.
[6] On November 7, 2001, Sogahata debuted for Japan national team against Italy.
