Hobart Township is one of eleven townships in Lake County, Indiana.
As of the 2010 census, its population was 39,417 and it contained 16,366 housing units.
[4] According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 25.98 square miles (67.3 km2), of which 25.47 square miles (66.0 km2) (or 98.04%) is land and 0.51 square miles (1.3 km2) (or 1.96%) is water.
