After the War, Holsworthy played their football in Stanhope Park until 1949, when they moved to their present home at Upcott Field.
The 1978 −79 Season was exceptional, as the young team assembled and managed by Terry Andrews were successful on 4 fronts.

Off the pitch floodlights were erected at the Upcott Field in 1997, and they were switched on by the then Plymouth Argyle manager, Mick Jones.
Throughout its history, the club has also boasted a Third team, which traditionally competed in the Kingsley League.
The Thirds were disbanded for the 2015/16 season in favour of an Under 18's team playing in the Devon County Youth League.
Ahead of the 2023/24 season, the club reintroduced the Third team into the North Devon Intermediate 2 Division.
They gained automatic promotion due to a league restructure and now play in the North Devon Intermediate 1 division.
