Horace Francis Clark (November 29, 1815 – June 19, 1873) was an American politician and railroad executive who served two terms as a U.S. representative from New York from 1857 to 1861.
[2] In 1833 Clark graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
[1] He studied law, was admitted to the bar in 1837, and commenced practice in New York City.
[1] Clark returned to his business interests after leaving Congress, and served as president of the Union Trust Company, Union Pacific Railroad, Michigan Southern Railroad, and other businesses.
