Hormuz (Persian: هرمز)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Hormuz District of Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 5,699 in 1,143 households, when it was in Qeshm County.
