Hosín is a municipality and village in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
Hosín consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The initial name of the village was Hošín.
There is a former china clay mine called Orty, protected as a nature monument.
Hosín is located on the railway line heading from České Budějovice to Tábor and Chotoviny.
It used to host major sporting events, including the World Aerobatic Championships in 1978.
