Hoveyzeh (Persian: هویزه)[a] is a city in the Central District of Hoveyzeh County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 14,422 in 2,749 households,[6] when it was capital of the former Hoveyzeh District of Dasht-e Azadegan County.

Hoveyzeh was transferred to the new Central District as the county's capital.
