Hubert and Takako (known as Hubert et Takako in French) is a French animated comedy series which was produced by Marc du Pontavice at Xilam and created and directed by Hugo Gittard and premiered in France on 3 November 2013 on Canal+.
[1] 78 episodes of 7 minutes were produced.
The opening sequence is composed by Vincent Artaud.
[citation needed] The show follows the exploits of two anthropomorphic animal roommates, Hubert, a fancy, old-fashioned, somewhat snobbish and egotistical pig, and his polar opposite Takako, a rebellious, hyperactive fly with an eternal zest for life who enjoys causing chaos and trying to get her housemate to loosen up and learn to have fun.
Despite their many feuds and differences, Hubert and Takako consider themselves best friends and get into all sorts of misadventures together.
