Hugh R. Miller

Hugh Reid Miller (May 14, 1812 – July 19, 1863) was an American politician who served as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1842 to 1844.

[1][2] Miller was mortally wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on the third day (July 3, 1863) while in temporary command of Joseph R. Davis' brigade.
