Hugh Todd

Hugh Hilton Todd is a Guyanese politician who serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Guyana since 2020.

In 1995, he received his training at the Britannia Royal Naval College and was promoted to the rank of sub-lieutenant.

[2] On 5 August 2020, Todd was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the cabinet of Irfaan Ali.

[4] Former minister Carl Barrington Greenidge who handled the Guyana–Venezuela territorial dispute at the International Court of Justice has been retained on the team while the case is ongoing.

[5] Todd was diagnosed COVID-19 positive on 12 August 2020 which resulted in the temporary quarantine and testing of all cabinet members.
