Hussain Mohamed Latheef (Dhivehi: ހުސައިން މުހައްމަދު ލަތީފް; born 10 December 1982), commonly known as Sembe (Dhivehi: ސެމްބެ),[2] is a Maldivian politician who is the 13th and incumbent vice president of the Maldives since 2023.

[5] He started his government career in 2004 as the former secretary at Hulhumalé Hospital.

[6] He also served the private sector in many companies and worked as a lecturer in the Maldives Family Court.

[6] Hussain Mohamed Latheef got his Undergraduate Degree in Social Service and Community Development in Al-Azhar University.

He received his Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University.
