It is part of Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency.

After the recent delimitation, Huzurnagar Assembly Constituency comprises the following Mandals: Huzurnagar, Neredcherla, Garidepally, Mattampally, Mellachervu, Chinthalapalem and Palakeedu.
