Hydrops triangularis, commonly known as the water false coral snake,[3] triangle water snake, triangle watersnake,[2] or water coral,[4] is a species of snake endemic to northern South America and the Amazon Basin.
[1][2] Hydrops triangularis is found in Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Colombia, Brazil, eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, and northern Bolivia.
[2] Hydrops triangularis reaches a maximum size of about 78 cm (31 in).
[4] Hydrops triangularis feeds on eels (especially synbranchids)[3] and other freshwater fish[4] (especially elongated species).
