Hypericum balearicum is a species of flowering plant in the family Hypericaceae, native to Spain's Balearic Islands.
Its stems are glandular and warty, yellow-green when young, becoming reddish-brown as it ages.
[2] Its warty stems and leaves and its involucre-like bracts distinguish it from other species of Hypericum.
[2] H. balearicum is confined to the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Cabrera, and Dragonera).
[2] It is found in dry woods and calcareous rocky habitats, from 30–1,200 m (98–3,937 ft).
