Ichinoyama Kofun

The Ichinoyama Kofun (市ノ山古墳) is a kofun located in Fujiidera, Osaka traditionally believed to be the burial site of Emperor Ingyō.

[2] The kofun is 230 meters long, with many subsidiary tombs surrounding it.

This has been interpreted as indicating this kofun was a transitionary period towards later burial practices.

[1] The actual site of Ingyō's grave is not known, this regent is traditionally venerated at a memorial Shinto shrine near the kofun.

[3][4] An alternative theory states Ingyo was buried in the nearby Tsudoshiroyama Kofun (津堂城山古墳), which is also located in Fujiidera.
