He is also the second prize winner in the senior division of the 2014 Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists in Austin, Texas.
[1] In Mo is also a graduate of the New England Conservatory, where he studied with Miriam Fried and pursued a Bachelor of Music degree.

[1][4] As of July 2021, In Mo currently plays on the c. 1718 "Bostonian" Antonio Stradivarius violin loaned to him by a private donor.
[2] Yang has also played on a c. 1690 violin by Giovanni Tononi,[3] a 1705/1706 Antonio Stradivarius and the Il Cannone by Guarneri 'Del Gesu' once owned by the famed Niccolò Paganini.
