Ingram, Texas

[5] Ingram is located in eastern Kerr County at 30°4′37″N 99°14′15″W / 30.07694°N 99.23750°W / 30.07694; -99.23750 (30.076903, –99.237367),[6] on the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country.

Texas State Highway 27 passes through the center of town, leading east to Kerrville and northwest 10 miles (16 km) to Mountain Home.

Texas State Highway 39 runs west from Ingram 6 miles (10 km) to Hunt.

[5] One of the main attractions of Ingram is the swimming activities along the Guadalupe River, which runs through the town.

[citation needed] An artistic replica of Stonehenge is located on the grounds of the Hill Country Arts Foundation.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.

Due to the popular summer camps in the area, the population grows significantly June through August.
