Her first leading role was in the Norwegian slasher film Cold Prey (2006).

She has since appeared in over fourteen films, including Chernobyl Diaries (2012), Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), and Hercules (2014).

From 2016 to 2018, she played the role of Armistice in the HBO series Westworld (2016–2022).

In January 2011, she opened her monologue Frøken Else at The Norwegian Theatre, receiving positive reviews.
