Ingrid Sheldon

Ingrid Blom Sheldon (born 1945) is an American politician who served as the 59th mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan from 1993 to 2000.

In Sheldon's reelection campaigns of 1996 and 1998, she won narrowly against Ann Arbor city councilman Chris Kolb.

Sheldon left office in 2000 when she decided not to run for re-election, and was succeeded by Democrat John Hieftje.

Sheldon remains an active member of the Ann Arbor community, including working as a bookkeeper at a tennis club.
