Injil (Dari: ولسوالی انجیل; Pashto: د انجیل ولسوالۍ) is one of the districts of Herat Province in northwestern Afghanistan.
[1] Approximately 55% is ethnic Tajik, 40% Pashtun, and the remaining 5% Hazara and Turkmen.
A 100-day project in 2011 repaired the Ordokhan, Qala Farahiha, and Sawa roads and cleared and renovated 12 km of irrigation canals.
The canal work improved irrigation to an estimated 400 hectares of agricultural land around Ordokhan Village.
