Intezar Abidi (born 11 July 1976) is an Indian politician with the Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh.
Before being arrested in June 2011, he was a member of the state government(MINISTER) cabinet under Mayawati, heading of the UP Kisan Ganna Sansthan, a state body that imparts training to sugarcane growers.
[1] Abidi hails from the Bahera Sadat village of Fatehpur district, and has a BSc and LLB from Shia Degree College.

[3][4] In 2009, Abidi and BSP politician Jitendra Singh were identified as leaders in a group of 150 arsonists responsible for attacking and setting fire to the house of UP State Congress chief Rita Bahuguna.
