He came up through the Rewa FC youth system and made his first team debut at the age of 14.
[2] With this feat he became the youngest player to play for a semi-professional football team in Fiji.
[3] Verevou was a member of Fiji's U-20 national team at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
[4] On 7 November 2015, he made his senior debut for the national team in their friendly match against Vanuatu.
[5] On 16 July 2016, Verevou was named in Fiji's 18-man squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
