Ireland competed at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, from 19 to 27 August 2023.

The team won no medals, but two athletes (Rhasidat Adeleke in the women's 400 metres and Ciara Mageean in the women's 1500) achieved fourth-place finishes.

Ireland entered 24 athletes.
