Irina Iosifovna Turova (Russian: Ирина Иосифовна Турова; born 10 August 1979), née Irina Slavina (Russian: Ирина Иосифовна Славина, also Irina Slavina-Turova), is a Russian chess player who holds the titles of Woman Grandmaster (2001) and International Master (2004).
Irina was born in Belarus, where her parents worked as chess trainers.
[3] In the 2000s Irina Turova participated in Women's World Chess Championship by knock-out system: In 2000, she was awarded the FIDE Woman International Master (WIM) title and received the FIDE Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title one year later.
In 2004, she was awarded the FIDE International Master (IM) title.
