Iron Horse is a census-designated place (CDP) in Plumas County, California, United States.

The racial makeup of Iron Horse was 276 (92.9%) White, 0 (0.0%) African American, 0 (0.0%) Native American, 1 (0.3%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 12 (4.0%) from other races, and 8 (2.7%) from two or more races.
242 people (81.5% of the population) lived in owner-occupied housing units and 55 people (18.5%) lived in rental housing units.
There were 148 housing units at an average density of 16.1 per square mile (6.2/km2).
