Isaac (/ˈaɪzək/ EYE-zək) transliterated from Yitzhak, Yitzchok (Hebrew: יִצְחָק, Modern: Yīṣḥaq, Tiberian: Yīṣḥāq) was one of the three patriarchs in the Hebrew Bible, whose story is told in the book of Genesis.
