In July 2023, Collins agreed to sell its actuation and flight controls business unit to French multinational Safran in an all-cash deal worth $1.8 billion.

[7][8] On 24 January 2024, Collins Aerospace, announced an investment of over £16 million at its Kilkeel site in Co Down for developing advanced passenger seating for wide-body and twin-aisle aircraft.

[9] In October 2024, Collins Aerospace, a business division of RTX (Raytheon Technologies), announced the first deliveries of its upgraded Venue cabin management system.

This latest iteration of the Venue system incorporates advanced smart monitors and an enhanced graphical user interface, designed to improve in-flight entertainment and usability for both operators and passengers.

Collins Aerospace has six strategic business units: Aerostructures, Avionics, Interiors, Missions Systems, Connected Aviation Solutions, and Power & Controls.
