Ivo Rigby

Sir Ivo Charles Clayton Rigby (2 June 1911 – 19 April 1987) was a British lawyer and judge.

Between 1945 and 1948 he served as President of the District Court of Palestine, at Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa.

In 1970, he was appointed Chief Justice of Hong Kong replacing Sir Michael Hogan.

He also served in the Palestine Volunteer Defence Force, Jerusalem from 1941 until it was disbanded in August 1943.

He also owned a number of racehorses in Hong Kong including, "Mabrouk" and "Inshallah".
