Iwashima Station

Iwashima Station (岩島駅, Iwashima-eki) is a passenger railway station in the town of Higashiagatsuma, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Then station consists two opposed side platforms connected by a footbridge.

Iwashima Station was opened on 5 August 1945 for freight only.

The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987.
