József Szécsényi (10 January 1932 – 19 March 2017) was a Hungarian track and field athlete, who competed in the discus throw event.
[2] Szécsényi was multiple Hungarian champion in discus (1955-1956, 1958–63, 1965).
[3] He participated in two Olympic Games (1960, 1964), reaching the final both times.
[4] He represented Hungary three times at the European Athletics Championships (1954, 1958, 1962).
