J. Milton Richardson

James Milton Richardson (January 8, 1913 - March 24, 1980) was bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas from 1965 to 1980.

[2] He married Eugenia Preston Brooks on June 14, 1940, and together they had four children.

[4] He initially served as minister in charge of St Timothy's Church in Atlanta, Georgia between 1938 and 1940, and then as assistant rector of St Luke's Church in Atlanta, Georgia from 1940 to 1943.

He was elected rector of St Luke's in 1943 and remained there until 1952, when he became Dean of Christ Church Cathedral in Houston, Texas.
