He is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 15th District (Berkeley & Charleston Counties), serving since 2018.

[9] On June 19, 2023, Moore announced his intention to run for the South Carolina Senate District 42 seat, vacated by Marlon Kimpson after his appointment to a role in the Biden administration.
He attended Johnson & Wales University, graduating with a culinary arts degree.
