Jabez Leslie Bryce (January 1935 – February 11, 2010)[1] was a Tongan-born Anglican bishop.
He was the Bishop of Polynesia in the Province of New Zealand, which includes most of the South Pacific.
[2] At the time of his death in 2010, he was the longest serving bishop in the worldwide Anglican Communion.
[2] As bishop, Bryce advocated for a number of causes affecting the Pacific Islands region.
In 2008, he became the Primate, of Tikanga Pasefika, of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
