His production design and art director credits include all of Malick's first eight feature films and Lynch's The Straight Story (1999) and Mulholland Drive (2001).
He has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Art Direction three times: for Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood[2], for Alejandro González Iñárritu's The Revenant,[3] and for Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon.
