Jack Fitzwater

Jack Joseph Fitzwater (born 23 September 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL League One club Exeter City.

[4] He made his Football League debut for Chesterfield on 12 September 2015, coming on as a 19th-minute substitute for Gboly Ariyibi against Colchester United at the Proact Stadium.

[14] Fitzwater returned to England and on the 5 September 2023 signed a two-year deal for EFL League One side Exeter City on a free transfer.

[15] In a February 2024 interview with the BBC, Fitzwater revealed that he was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and had been going to the toilet up to 40 times a day.

Since his diagnosis, Fitzwater has become a member of Crohn's and Colitis UK, and has received a special card and a master key which grants him access to over 9,000 locked public toilets.
