Jack Medd Murphy (September 6, 1925 – May 3, 1984) was an American lawyer and politician who served as the 32nd lieutenant governor of Idaho from 1967 to 1975.
Murphy served in the United States Army during World War II as a sergeant.
[3][4] On November 8, 1966, Murphy won the election and became a Republican lieutenant governor of Idaho.
[5][6][7][8][1] On November 3, 1970, as an incumbent, Murphy won the election and continued serving as the lieutenant governor of Idaho.
[11][12] Murphy also served as a member of the board of regents of the Idaho State Department of Education.
