He received a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1933.
He was in private practice of law in Long Island City, New York from 1934 to 1959.
[1] Mishler was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on June 10, 1960, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York vacated by Judge Mortimer W. Byers.
He served as a member of the Judicial Conference of the United States from 1974 to 1977.
His service was terminated on January 26, 2004, due to his death in West Palm Beach, Florida.
