Jafarabad, Iran

Jafarabad (Persian: جعفرآباد)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Qeshlaq Dasht District of Bileh Savar County, Ardabil province, Iran.

[5] Jafarabad is in the Moghan Plain, about 26 km northwest of Bileh Savar, the capital of the county.

[2] The expansion of the urban area of Jafarabad is also in the northwest-southeast direction, and longitudinally, and the main road of Bileh Savar Moghan—Parsabad Moghan passes through it.

The place of Jafarabad and its surrounding plains was considered as Qeshlaq of Shahsawan nomads in the past.

With the start of the construction activities of the Shiar Azarbaijan company around 1318 AH, the initial nucleus of the settlement was formed.
