James 'Jim' A. Dunnigan[1] (born March 31, 1953) is an American politician serving as a member of the Utah House of Representatives for the 36th district.
[2] He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from the University of Utah.
[3] Dunnigan was elected to the Utah House of Representatives in November 2002 and assumed office on January 1, 2003.
During the 2015 and 2016 general sessions Dunnigan served as House's majority leader.
[4][5] He was challenged by Brad Wilson for the position in 2016 and ultimately dropped out of the leadership race before voting took place.
