James McGuire (Irish politician)

James Ivan McGuire (24 July 1903 – 1989) was an Irish politician and barrister.

He was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Cumann na nGaedheal Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South constituency at the 1933 general election.

[1] He lost his seat at the 1937 general election.

[2] His brother was Edward McGuire, a businessman and senator.

Note that the boundaries of Dublin South from 1981–2016 share no common territory with the 1921–1948 boundaries.
